I Have a Thing for Owls....


Large beaded breastplate with carved bone owl cabochon. Stones used include labradorite, petrified wood, red creek jasper, flourite, garnet, lapis lazuli and carnelian. The owl was "aged" with oil paint.


Large polymer owl modeled from polymer clay to be used for another breastplate. The eyes are labradorite beads and the talons are citrine.


Gorgeous porcelain owl cabochon by Laura Mears.The piece is about 1 inch tall and was purchased for use in a future beading project.


Another owl necklace with  carved bone focal piece. Stones used in this include blue lace agate, freshwater pearl, red creek jasper and turquoise.


A silver plated ring with a lampwork glass owl bead on a base of Japanese seed beads.
